Affordable THC 414 White chip options (1 Viewer)

Playing around with an idea for white 414 THCs for a $1 in a cash set. I thought it could be neat to have a lot of different chips so the $1 side shots are interesting. Would consider doing a uniform label to tie them together.

I am curious if this can be done affordably. The NYNY being live could be doable, but what about other chips? Does anyone have any qualifying chips just lying around? I know chipguide has a few, but I'm more curious what people actually have!

Also, great idea or terrible idea? Go!

There are several folks looking for NYNY chips in decent shape and quantity. I hunted for several months before snagging a rack, I think I paid ~$225. The Aztars could run potentially run twice that....

True, affordability is all relative. Although I do know the aztars are a bad example of affordability. Was more citing them as an example of the spots for people to decide on how different edge spots could be side by side.

I have several barrels with a similar spot pattern that I can probably post to give you a feel for the side look. Finding THC options with those spots will be the big challenge.

^^ This. Other spot patterns are much more common (418, 2V, etc.), although they won't have the same big color-burst look in stacks.

Some examples to get your creative juices flowing:

All 414:

414 mixed with 314:

414 mixed with 418:

How many racks are you looking for? If you're looking at ~3-4, maybe you can get all 414 on THC but you'll be limited on options. NyNy, horseshoe tunica, ??? More than that, it'll be really tough.

If you open up to other molds, you have lots of other options. Pca $1s, dover downs, four winds south bend, stardust, aztar in, etc.

Or, you could shoot to keep all thc, but expand on the spots a bit. Adding 314 gets you Cleveland horseshoes. And there are a few 418 ones from Vegas - palazzo, Venetian & bally's.

Thanks for those side shots. I am looking at 414 because of my other chips in my lineup. I am ideally looking for 4 racks. NYNY by itself seems to be a popular opinion.

Maybe some other options will unearth. If I did a variety, I could go 2 racks x 2, 1 rack x 4, or maybe even 6 types?

I am looking for 414 because this set build has a edge pattern of:

25c Solid Yellow
$1 414 White
$5 4D14 Red
$25 414 Green
$100 4D14 Black

They are all THC and I have the 25c, 5, 25, 100, and some of the 1s.

@Irish when you have time, would you be able to make some dirty stacks of 414s, Maybe next to a uniform barrel of yellow solids and a uniform barrel of some red,
I'm curious if it is too crazy, or just the right amount of crazy.
