Hey Guys,

Long time reader & first time poster.
Got a sample set from a company on Alibaba, very friendly and professional.
Ceramic set of which I understand are printed but I was fairly disappointed in the sample set and I noticed throughout the lot of them the pattern in the pictures below. I like Tournament sets for the bigger values as we play 3 games a night starting blinds at 50/100 every 10mins so we get to the thousands fairly quickly.

Anywho is this the general standard of Ceramic prints or should they be at least a bit glossier than below??? Seems low quality like paper printing on ceramic if ya get me.

(Also yes I changed the colours to suit our usual value sets used for years.)

Looks like the texture on the chips.
If you don't want that you'll have to get smooth chips with no texture.

Is that the general way all ceramics look tho from the main outlets or is it just how they print it and I should avoid it? Are Ceramics generally smooth?

When I order blanks they offer smooth and textured along with different molds.

Not sure which vendor on Alibaba you used, but folks here have ordered literally hundreds of thousands from "Tina" and the level of satisfaction has been very high.

Cheers Horse. I think it's Shenzhen something...will have to look it up again. Seen Tina mentioned but it looks similar in items they have.
