Well, I suppose this thread has really dried up, seeing as I'm the last one who posted here...

Here is my completed set (sans Hundos, maybe in the future)

I used S&K Cardroom $5 for fracs. Full re/re on those.

After I get my labels from @Gear for the fracs, I will show off my full set of Detroits. Definitely my favorite set. PCAs are the bomb, but my only experience with those is when I actually played on the Admiral way back in the day…

They're pretty looking.

Generally, chips with good color choices and spot patterns carry more of a premium around here than others. The drab, dark green $25 chip with brown edge spots isn't going to be worth nearly as much as this green $25 secondary chip that has a sharp looking green with really bright white and pink edge spots.

I’m also fairly new here but my understanding is Jack Detroit was a rebrand that never happened so all the chips are brand new as opposed to “casino used.” People including me seem to think that $5 is the GOAT. Just my 2 cents. Also their felt is nice.

It's a lot I know...variety is the spice of life and I always like to "future proof" my sets for bigger games down the road or to donk around with for a casino night and introduce my close friends to what PCF is all about. It's also nice to have replacements to the completed racks just if one gets damaged. I started with the 100sec and 25p but I was always more interested in their counterparts. I don't think I'll ever let them go, just too nice of a set tbh...
