I apologize in advance for the length of this post, but I can hardly contain my excitement!!

Let me begin by giving a HUGE THANK YOU to a few people for bringing my custom CPC 44mm set & Dealer Buttons to fruition.

Label Design - Thank you John Faulhaber @Johnny5 for the AWESOME job on the label and dealer button design. Working with J5 was an absolute pleasure, and I look forward to our next project together.

Dealer Buttons - Thank you Alain-Pierre @PokerChipsDesign for the AMAZING dealer buttons. The quality is top notch, communication was wonderful, and turnaround time was lightning fast. I will DEFINITELY be a repeat customer.

44mm Custom CPC Chips - Thank you David Spragg @David Spragg for the UNBELIEVABLE 44mm custom poker chips. The pictures in the post do not come close to capturing how beautiful these chips came out. I am absolutely, positively, looking forward to custom set #2.

Background
This custom set was designed to meet a specific need--our monthly "Alpha Shootout" tournament. Each year the Seeking Alpha Social Club runs a 10 player, 12 game (once per month) tournament where the winner is sent (all expenses paid) to play in the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas. I pondered and pondered and considered various themes for more than a year. Then I saw @Tommy s WTOP set being raffled and I instantly knew that the WSOP theme would be perfect for the "Alpha Shootout." And after seeing @ChaosRock s awesome 44mm Cordeiros Fite Club set, I knew they had to be 44mm's. Of course they had to be on the "A" mold because as we all know..."A" is for Alpha.:D

Mockup
Below are the label and dealer button mockups that J5 created. I suspect it will raise some eyebrows, but I went with a 50 instead of a 25 because it fits our tournament structure better.

Love the 44mm. Really nice job with these as they turned out pretty. We're samples offered? If so if you have any leftovers let me know I'd like a set!

Thanks.

Sorry. In my rush to meet production timelines, I unfortunately forgot to see if anybody wanted samples. But next time David does a 44mm run, I'll be sure to reach out to see who would like samples.

Everything looks great!

Also, curious as to the science behind the T50 chip. How do your tournaments play out?

edit: no samples I see, oh well!
Thanks! On the T50, no real science, mostly prefference. Our smallest blind is 50 /100 with 50 antes starting in level 3, so we never have a need for a T25 chip. We started out using T25s, but eventually found ourselves calling the T25 chips T50s. Also, starting stacks are 25k, so most players felt like there were too many T25s in play.

Sick! (y)(y)(y)

Thanks!! You're WTOP raffle was one of the few times that I REALLY REALLY wanted my 1 timer to come through. So much so that I had to rectify my dillema:D

Holy guacamole.... these are gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you!

I've always really liked the more shallow spots on 44mm chips, and the colors on the T100 are awesome. Great looking set!

Thanks! I initially had concerns about the lack of an edgespot that more closely resembled the original WSOP chips, but very quickly got over when I started mocking them up.

PHENOMENAL set, Kevin!!! Great concept and execution man... Congratulations!

Thanks!!

Can't wait to see pictures of them chips in play! ;)

Thank you! Unvailling will be at our next Alpha Shootout on May 20th, which feels like a lifetime away:confused:

Awesome set! How have I not seen this thread before today?! I'm not always a fan of exact same edge spots on every denom, but the base and spot colors are very well chosen with different contrasts/dayglo colors - very well done.

I was going to jump in and ask about the 50 denom chip as well, then took the time to read the thread and saw you already answered. I have a Paulson 'sporting' set that has a 50 denom chip, but no 25. I always wondered how the heck to use it in tournaments, but now I know it can be done. If I ever use that set in a game, I'll just say the denoms and blinds are modeled after the Alpha Shootout.

Thanks!! Yeah, the edge spots are slightly different shades of blue, but they worked well with the different base colors. The 5k has the same peacock blue as 1 other, but I allowed my wife (as a breast cancer survivor) to have free reign on the pink 5k and she just happened to love the peacock blue.:D(y)

These are works of art. If I had only known before I bought mine. I might be sick
