Hey all, Bob in Tucson here.

I'm a noob to chip collecting and poker. I've always preferred Blackjack and Roulette but a friend is is slowly bringing me around.

On a recent trip to Vegas I picked up some old Paulsons to match the old roulette table I have at home. In order to try to find out what the set was worth I went online and now I'm interested in collecting. That led me here to PCF. This place is great!

I've been able to identify all the chips that I purchased except the one in my profile picture. I'll keep looking but any help would be much appreciated. I added pictures of the 800 chips to my profile, I think. Any feedback on the start of my collection is also welcome. Quality, value, collect-ability or any other random thoughts.

All I really know right now is that Paulson is THEE name in chips and that I want to learn more and collect more. Thank you in advance for your help, and patience.

Welcome! I'm in Saudi but PHX/Denver are my homes when I return. I also discovered this place with some naivete. All I wanted to do was get a pretty good set of chips and found them on eBay a couple years ago...then arrived here. I never intended to:

• make customs - twice
• build a Terrible's set larger than anyone has before
• host meet ups
• buy everything in sight

...but I adapted.
