Hey everyone!
Glad to find a group that shares the odd sickness I seem to have developed to buy as many poker chips as I can. It started innocently enough about 7 years ago, buying a beat up, mismatched set of 700 striped dice chips so I could have a home game. Next thing I know I’m scanning Facebook marketplace for bargains on chip sets (still mostly striped dice) that I can fix up and resell. I’ve probably bought 5,000 crappy chips by now, and managed to make a few bucks, but I never get tired of sorting and stacking them. It’s probably the poker player in me.

I live in the suburbs of Philly, where I play Riverchasers bar poker and home games, some of which I host. I’m heading to Vegas soon, so if anyone has suggestions for where I could possibly score a good deal on some Paulson chips, I’d appreciate it… I’d love to upgrade my home tournament chips to something decent, hopefully without spending a fortune.

Oh bummer, I think that has a minimum post requirement. Forgot about that. You're welcome! You'll be able to view that thread after you make 20 posts or so, whatever the rule is. Sorry about that!

The collectibles convention sounds great! I will be in Vegas next week and I’ll try to make it there, though I’m not sure if it will be possible between the poker tournament I’m playing in and the day trips we have planned.

There's a large variety of us attending different days. Feel free to update the spread sheet in the link with your itinerary and you can reach out via PM if you want to try to meet up with myself or any of the other members.
To attend the convention you'll have to register as a member of the CCA which is available outside the convention hall.
We are having a small "mini meet up" for PCF members held at Mandalay Bay on the 14th if you'd like more info, shoot me a PM
