I’m gonna go with an uneducated guess of bcc.

Oddly in stacks they look more like Paulsons, but from the top more like a bcc.

Interested to see what everyone else thinks.

The inlays seem bigger than a Paulson giant inlay, assuming these are 39mm chips

The recess in the middle looks similar to viet rounder’s Duy’s Palace chips, which were BCC giant inlay on the sun mold.

In the unveiling thread he mentioned that he liked giant inlay BCC because they mask the misshapen inlays better than other sizes, as the inlay reaches out almost to the edge of the chip face.

Not sure if any of that relates to these chips, but may be worth a look.

Oh, and - by the way - those are some cool chips!

I think that red has to be BCC blood red - I don't think Paulson has a red in that shade that is that saturated (but it could just be the obviously shitty camera I guess.)

Even more tilting than that inlay though is it appears that these chips apparently interchange the base and spot colors randomly...

Giant inlays on BCC flame mold would be my guess.

And the Duy's Palace set was produced on the flame mold, not the sun mold.

Correct. There are three different chips pictured: white with blue/red spots, blue with white/red spots, and red with blue/white spots.

Good eye. I see what you’re saying.
If the inlays weren’t so stupid huge, this would be more obvious.

Nice catch! I’d just looked at that photo, too.

I picked them up at a great price so there may be some inlay removal experimentation in their future. I'm betting BCC is correct.

I'm thinking sun mold.
I've got some BCC Garden City chips and the inlay has been nearly impossible to remove without serious damage to the chip.

You should be able to see the mold (sun/flame etc) through the inlay...?

I have no idea why but for some reason I really like these chips. Nice catch

So weird how they designed these. Would never be able to tell them apart in a game LOL. I’m having trouble just separating them.

Gotta be on purpose, with the intention of them all being the same (denom) although just-so-slightly different.

There you go, off-centered inlays :)
Actually, that's not really uncommon for almost all clay chips, regardless of manufacturer (yes, even Paulson, ASM/CPC, and TRK). It's just a lot more noticeable when it's a giant inlay on a 39mm chip. And yet another reason to not ever do it.

BCC's real claim to fame was misshapen inlays...... .

I’m gonna say use em for a limit set with the blue/white/reds interchangeable and the greens as a frac or hi denom, would tilt the hell out of me otherwise haha
Although you could write the different denoms on the chip faces with magic marker and nobody would ever be the wiser that it wasn't part of the original art.

They clearly look identifiable in stacks. I'd be interested in how much a dirty stack stand out, tho.

Pulling a pot and trying to stack those by looking at the face would be a nightmare.

Interesting for sure. Is that the full set? A little under 3 racks? Would make for a cool set if used as one denom across all chips I guess.

What is that thing on the left side of the inlay? A tall piece of wood? Something to do with mining? I see a lantern and the "T" looks like a pick ax?

I tried removing an inlay and was only able to get the outer layer of plastic off. Not sure what this inner layer is made of but I have tried nail polish remover, Goo Gone and hot water and nothing seems to make a dent.

Just a test, there was an odd number. If you could remove the outer portion you could use the inner ring for a label.
