I also collect interesting paper currency leaning towards hyperinflation, military, and just plain old. My small collection is below.

If anyone has some interesting examples to add to my collection for cash or chips please PM me.

I am particularly looking for a $500 and $1000 bill. I trust this place more than I trust eBay.

In Italy we had our amout of hyperinflation, before euro!

PS: the first banknote in OP, 100 mark from Germany, it's one of my favourites: it was made in 2 version, with red and green seals; back side it's much ornate!

That specific one came after our huge hyperinflation in Germany. My mother used to have a few crumpled million and billion Reichsmark bills from 1922 in some box. If you don't mind very circulated conditions, i'll have a look for these next time i visit my family.

I remember paying a toll on an Italian highway on the way from Nice to Switzerland that was 50-100k lira many years ago.

For those interested the Yugoslavia 500 billion was the note with the most printed zeroes for decades. Zimbabwe 2008 100 trillion broke that record. But historically post WW2 Hungary was the largest denomination ever circulated in human history at 100 million trillion (blue B-pengo). An even larger note was printed but never circulated at 1 billion trillion 10^21 (larger green B-pengo).

I give the 20 billions out as gifts. When people ask me how many it takes to make a dollar the answer is 1.75 million of them (35 quadrillion).

I have a few of those as well from my Oma. Time to dig around and see if I can find them!
