Fancy. My wife thought this was a good idea and the frickin' kids...never used. Sat in cabinet for 5 years. :(

I played Monopoly for cash in Grad School. The buy in was $150 (~$600 in today's dollars), winner take all. It was intense, nothing like other Monopoly games.

That is a nice set for someone looking for a upgraded game!

This is really nice. Now replace that paper money with chips and you're G2G!

I already have 5 copies of the game. Seriously, 5. I appreciate that you are letting it go for a steal, but it's still $150, and I don't host Monopoly tourneys anymore.

Nothing like a multi table Monopoly Tournament. Add blinds to your game to make it more interesting. Blinds go in the center and if you hit free parking, you win the pot.

A buy in for Monopoly! That's hard core!

Jeff, if you don't get action on this and the kids are still into it by WCB time, I'll probably buy it off you to bring home. ;)

I can't find the provenance for where Lisa bought this.

However, at around the same time, we had Chicago monopoly, and a custom monopoly game that came with software where you could name the streets, railroads, etc and print the cards and board.

"Make your own opoly". Have it as well. Pulled it out one night, then discovered the software was on a 3 1/2" floppy. It was quite the excursion to dig out the old, old computer and power it back up.

Then I realized I could just use Photoshop.
