Epic fail...

Was playing with my Key West samples and dropped this one. Backed up over it with one of the wheels on my chair. I've actually done this a few times before with other chips. Not so lucky this time.

^^ same here. And some Paulsons. No respect.

That sucks. I guess this is why we should always order spares! (y)

I drop them all the time. But I'm VERY conscious of this happening, so I ALWAYS identify where it is before rolling my chair with any weight in it. Side note - I may have one of those to replace yours.

That's why I'm thankful that I ordered full barrels for my CPC tourney set. They threw in two extra barrels (between 5 and 8 extra of each denomination) that don't fit in the racks or birdcages. Those are now tucked safely away in a covered rack away from normal play.

When I hear a chip hit the floor I do the old lost my contact "nobody move" and then carefully look under the table without moving my chair. I did that before CPC and you can sure bet I'll be doing it now!

I did, but only a small piece broke off. I didn't intentionally try to break it but it wasn't necessarily due to an accident either lol.

I was in Vegas and it was around a $1,100 pot. Had a full house and on the river the guy hit a one-outer for a bigger full house.

This was like 15 years ago when I used to let bad beats piss me off. I had a stack of 10 or so chips I was shuffling and I slammed it down on the table. A small piece of the bottom chip broke off.

I saved the chip and broken piece for a while but ended up tossing it about six months ago.

Being early 2000's they probably let you keep playing? Nowadays I see guys told to go cool off, under the threat of meeting the Suits, for far lesser transgressions. Heck, nowadays we call the artillery in to fourth grade classrooms when a kid refuses to get out of their seat.

Yep, I ran a few Outpost $1 chips through the garbage disposal. Normally I never notice the short rack of $1s 590+ plays about the same as 600 chips. But tomorrow I am hosting a $1 - $4 spread limit game that uses only $1 chips with twenties as a store of value and the Outpost $1s are lined up for the game.

So thanks for the memory - I'll notice tomorrow. Maybe even take some pictures.
