These were on Craigslist very close to me. Anyone recognize these chips? I've never seen them before. This is the only picture they posted. Thanks.

They dont look like clay to me. They look like some sort of plastic chip. Cant tell if theyre nice like BJ or Matsui or just a cheap plastic. What I can tell for sure is they have the most horrible labels I've ever seen. If theyre former type of chip then its a great price and good candidate for relabel. After you grab the chips be sure to say "keep both the tables I dont want em".

The 10 denom chips are throwing me off. Pretty sure they are plastic, but not convinced they are cheaper chips at all. A better pic of the 100 might help.

The way that there are extra spots on the edges, to me they almost look like some kind of ceramics.

Good call. Hadn't occurred to me, but a plain white printed center area on ceramics makes sense.

Yeah interesting for sure. It seems like 2 different versions of 10s? Left row has extra spot on rolling edge (good catch). Row on right doesn't seem to have that. And there is a missing blue spot on the fifth from back of that row too...if you like error chips.

Dolphin abs? Never handled those but I've seen some listed, I think it's an Australian company and those spots look familiar.

The RT Plastics "Bugsy's Hideaway" chips had a similar spot pattern with extra edge spot, and the colors look very RT to me.

No, all the chips in all the denoms have the same spot pattern - the rolling edge has spots to match the face every 90 degrees, plus four "dashes" along the rolling edge between the spots. [EDIT: the singles may not have the extra dashes; the 5-10-25-100 do.) ]

The 10s on the right are at an angle because of which you don't see the rolling edges, at all.

Looks like a good bet... is their face art an inlaid/printed chip? Adhesive label? Or is it also injection-molded? The face art on those Bugsy chips looks too complicated to be molded.

From http://www.homepokertourney.com/reviews/poker_chip_review_dice702.htm :

The full inlay has a multi-colored holographic inlay that is quite unique and flashy. It looks great under the lights.

I could easily peel the label off this chip on the first try. I could then stick the same label back on the chip without any noticeable change. The labels are very high quality and are difficult to pierce or tear. Once you take the label off, there are slightly visible, but untellable, injection mold marks under the sticker. There are no edge ridges on this chip.

These chips have a good sound and feel and balance. They stack well but are a bit slippery. This chip was 39.40mm in diameter and weighed 9.26 grams.

At first glance they looked like ceramics, but I'm being convinced otherwise by smarter people.

If those are ceramics, that is impressive edge alignment. I'm also thinking RT plastics. The edgespot on the hundred looks just like my RT plastics T5000 and T25,000.
