Obviously the Grand Casino hot stamp tournament chips are some of the all-time greats. But I've been thinking about putting together a fun nite tournament set, and it got me thinking, why haven't I seen other casino tournament hot stamp sets? Are they out there and I just haven't noticed? Or are they scarce?

There's a grip of hot-stamped casino tourney sets. They're not uncommon whatsoever.

Finding set that's both spotted and hot-stamped, however...those aren't common at all.

Oh I don't care about spotted. I might actually prefer hot stamp chips to be solid. But it just occurred to me that if I'm gonna build a fun nite set, I'd rather an actual casino set. I guess I'll have to start looking under stones.

St Croix casino turtle lake just got new hot stamped Paulson solids. You'd have to harvest them from the tourneys though lol

There was a very limited supply, but Bahamia had a solid hotstamped set as well.

There's a Casino Aztar set I believe. On mobile or I would track it down.

Many believe these are the most beautiful casino tournament chips of all time. I think there was also a solid version, but I can't recall for sure.

CT's DrJohn had an epic series of pr0n threads of which this is one. Go over to CT to see amazing up close pics of all the chips. But a quick sampling:

I have seen those. I assumed they were a fantasy chip.

On the sun mold. They were made for a cruise ship, but the company went belly up after a few short years.
im sure someone else here has more history / details about it then me.

There's these, which are my all time favorite.

I do also really like Fun Nites though, we played a tourney with them last night, they're great

@OP, Fun Nites are probably your best bet if you want to put a set together. They're relatively common and come up for sale regularly. I would think a want ad, an open wallet, and a little patience would be enough to land a decent sized set if you're willing to cobble them together over a number of transactions over a number of months.

Yeah, but nearly all of them are on the RHC mold. The Grand Casino sets (Biloxi and Gulfport) are two of the very few produced on the THC mold that have made it into collector hands. Also a reason that those chips are in much better shape than most hot-stamped casino tourney sets. RHC chips generally do not age well if heavily used.

Finding set that's both spotted and hot-stamped, however...those aren't common at all.
And finding a spotted hot-stamped casino set that is also on the THC mold is like finding the Arc of the Covenant with the Holy Grail and original Ten Commandments inside... the elusive Mother of God unicorn set.
