I am currently designing, with @T_Chan 's valuable help, a custom cloth for a round 120cm (almost 48in) table and would love your feedback.

The table is going to have a super-sized 6in rail with cupholders in it, extending outwards to a 50in total diameter (it's going to be built locally).
Rail vinyl color is going to be a tile-ish medium Burgundy. That's where all this table's color will come from (besides the chips:D)

What you see in the following pictures are candidate designs covering a circle of 96cm (38in) diameter inside the rail.
As you 'll see, I am generally in favor of a generous "racetrack use" area, without overdoing it though.
So these are the quasi-finalists.
I thought about posting this as a poll, but it's restricting and prohibitive of intermediate creative "ways out".
Tell me what you think about brightness / darkness, racetrack area-betting area-badge proportions and extending the pattern into the betting area or not.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Scroll down, cloth finalized. Opinions welcome on cupholders color and placement
Table size 50.5in

Too dark for my taste. Chips might be hard to see, especially if hundos are black. I also would be concerned with a 6” rail on a 48” table. Too big IMO.

My opinions, and my opinions only.

1) Consider shrinking the diameter of your rail down to 5" or even 4" and taking out the cupholders. Better to use external cupholders that can slide under the rail.

2) Reduce the distance from the inside edge of the rail to the betting line to about 4.5", or 3 standard chip-widths.

3) I would choose a different colour for your "false racetrack". How about a nice bronze colour? It would clearly designate the chip area from the pot area, and keep nicely with your Greek theme.

Well, straight out I like the concept. Suggestions:

Same as above bring the rail down to 4.5..if you foam the inside and outside edges when you put the vinyl on it will be around 6" in the end

Again bring the betting line out a little

Make the "Owl" in the center half the diameter of the your final betting line....maybe bigger I would need to see a draft

I would also let Tony do his "SSC" play using the owl in place of the suits for the race track and leave the center plain like #1

If using black felt I would tone down the white images closer to a light gray, I think a little subtleness would go a long way here

Thanks for the input so far.
The rail is a semi-independent side issue. I hope it can be reduced in size. Actually, it's about converting an ordinary table with folding legs, and extending by the way its diameter from 120 (almost 48in) to 128cm (50smth in) to accomodate a 7th player (not very comfortably anyway). If the cupholders (large aluminum size, just short of jumbo) are not on the rail, but right next to it, on the "racetrack" area, the rail could be reduced to as little as 8cm (3in smth).

About the cloth itself, the thing is to reconcile the need for some light with functionality. I think functionality demands low contrast patterns (if any pattern at all).
As for the color, you 'll "loose" one chip for any color: redbirds on red cloth, 20s/25s on green cloth etc.
My darkest chip is charcoal with bright DG Arc Yellow spot elements.

Other issue: "Racetrack" width: What's the reason for making it narrow on a fully clothed table?

I have a "thing" for owls. It's not sexual, I promise. Something about their demeanor screams poker face to me. Anyway, thought I would share my little design when and if I ever decide to refelt. I quasi lifted the owl off the web somewhere and made it my own.

So, the final cloth is going to look like this according to Tony's rendering (table to be made locally by a friend):

or, with brass-colored cup holders, instead of steel:

I forgot to mention to Tony that I plan to have 7 cup holders (7 players can fit, at 22.6 inches of perimeter each).
Both types of cupholders fulfill the concept, but I would like to hear your opinion.
Actually, the table that motivated me has steel cupholders in the playing surface, but it's a huge oval. It's good however to take a look at it to understand where I came from and see the actual vinyl hue (I was lucky to find practically the same):

Many thanks to @T_Chan !
