Atlanta, GA Training (4 Viewers)

The various schools of poker can have high tuitions. And no assurance you will graduate with any sort of knowledge. I am talking about playing poker with real people. Paying for training from a coach is a different matter.

Finding a coach that can match their advice to your skill levels is no small thing. Few trainers can make that leap - rather they teach their class and hope it works for you.

Is there any group or coaching available to learn to play poker or learn strategy better? I'm local to Atlanta and need help learning and improving my skill.
I’ve study long and hard, for years my degree seems so elusive and far away. I’ve been a life long member at the school of hard knocks, and I must say while I repeat a lot of the same lessons, I am learning :cautious:

Honestly understanding holdem is a great start,I wish I would have embraced Omaha at a younger age. It’s all round a better game and significantly more fun.

Try to find a group that will play other games (non wild cards) and go ham, the lower the blinds the better

To piggyback off of this question, is there any dealer training in the ATL area as well?
Not sure what they will do in terms of training, but Pain Train Promotions runs tournaments 6 days a week between the VFW in Chastain Park, Acworth, and one other spot I can't remember off the top of my head. One of the guys that runs deals my private game and is very good. The secondary dealer also deals for him occasionally. They may have some unofficial training options.
