I hate feebay and I would like to keep these in the community, so here it goes, hopefully it won't bite me in the ass and I can at least break even. I do love these chips but as stated in my previous post, I am heading out to Oregon to get married and would prefer to put the money towards renting a nice car.

The quarters and $5 chips are in the nicest condition, nice sharp edges. The $1 chips have the most wear. See pics and ask questions. I can take more photos upon request.

Breakdown:
$.25 x 100 (relabeled $2's will come with enough spare labels to do another barrel)
$1 x 203
$5 x 255
$10 x 21
$25 x 45
$100 x 5

NOTE: If you do not like the relabeled $2 chips I can hook you up with an interested party. I will even ship to multiple parties if need be but I will only accept payment from the one high bidder.

I lived in Crystal City when I was in NoVa for a few years. Loved the area as a single guy. Good luck to the bidders.

Right place, and in Crystal City is a cluster of buildings named Crystal Park 1 through Crystal Park (iirc) 4. Lots of restaurants, bars, etc., and right on the Potomac River and a Metro line -- prime close-in commuter turf.

The Patent and Trademark Office used to be there, before we moved to Old Town Alexandria.

I used to date a Korean stripper named Crystal Park so for old times sake I will bid...
actually I didn't really like her that much....

I was pretty sure that was you I used to see in the Crystal City Restaurant, sitting right up front near the bar and the dancing poles. You had a reputation as a big tipper -- probably could have saved enough to buy this set many times over...

I don't especially like these. I don't really want these. But I used to work inside the DC Beltway in a section of Arlington, VA called Crystal Park, and often thought about acquiring a set of them.

For old times' sake, $1258.
Solid bid for not especially liking them. I like how you roll.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I have to pass this story on.

One day walking to the Crystal City Sports pub on 23rd street (I think, if memory serves me correctly), I saw an older couple (in their late 70's, early 80's) walk up to the Crystal City restaurant. Now, as you can probably tell from Pltrgyst's earlier post, this is not a "normal" restaurant. Now, Virginia is a pasties and bottoms state, but I saw this couple look at the menu by the door, having no idea what type of restaurant that it was. They walked in the door all quaint, and 5 seconds later walked out. The look on the lady's face was absolutely priceless to say the least. I am sure the husband wanted to stay, and I could only imagine the conversation they had.

As you were, and good luck to the bidders.

Lol! Thanks for the share. Hijacks keep my post up top so no worries there.

Yep, 23rd St, next to the 7-11 and Young Chow Chinese. A lot of people made that same mistake.

Apart from working two blocks away, we used to have an annual titty bar motorcycle ride, usually over 100 bikes, and CCR was the first stop, before heading out to the VA suburbs. Only about six of us on European and Japanese bikes -- the rest Harleys, who had a routine for peeling off and stopping traffic at every intersection with a traffic light. Good times!
