I need some Capitol for my Vegas trip to the 2016 Chip Convention so a few things have to be sacrificed.

This auction is for 100 $3 Vineyards. They are all Paulsons and these came from the closed CA casino.

The chips are casino used and have some flea bites but are still sharp and will stand on edge.

Chips were all cleaned and oiled previously by me.

RULES

1. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM are allowed.
2. Bids must be placed in minimum increments of $5.
3. Edited posts will be voided.
4. Shipping via USPS will be $7. Int'l will be additional (actual cost and buyers risk).
5. Payment to be made via Paypal Friends and Family, or buyer must pay all applicable Paypal fees.
6. I reserve the right to: i) change the rules at any time; ii) cancel the auction at any time; iii) void any or all bids.

Opening bid starts at: $250

Auction ends Thursday May 26th, 2016 at 10:30pm EDT.

Rack Not included, shipped in a chip box.

IIRC there were only a few thousand (maybe four?) of the $2 and $3 denominations made.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The count I've obtained from two independent sources is as follows, which is what I believe is accurate and based on the buyer's actual counts. Wish you were selling back some $5s. I still "need" more of those (maybe someday Larry).
  • $0.50 = 3,597 The style 1 “large font” is the majority, with “small font” style 2 more rare.
  • $1 = 43,133
  • $2 = 14,736
  • $3 = 11,783
  • $5 = 33,388
  • $10 = 2,025
  • $20 = 13,338
  • $25 = 4,485
  • $100 = 9,566 (Style 1: 4 spot)
  • $100 = 4,960 (Style 2: 8 spot)
  • $500 = around 200? (the original claim was 100, but I've seen more than that available)
  • NCVs = 9,721
Edit to add the Vineyard NCV counts.

Thanks Inca. So not quite as rare as I thought but still hard to find.

Larry, you might as well go ahead and try to make it an even 1000 ;)

I would be sorely tempted to trade you for the Surfside casino chips I sold you a few years ago. I have missed them greatly.

Two problems there, though: 1) the Vineyard $3s have somehow been supplanted in my $3/6 affections by the orange Aces $3s, of which I have 1100, and 2) the Surfsides are my very favorite ceramics, and will be one of the very the last sets to go.

I have no idea how many Surfsides I have at this point, but it's quite a few. I don't remember how many you sold me, by I already had a large number at that time.

So if someone buys these $3s first for a limit set and needs more, talk to me.

It was a 500 chip set. I scooped one from the original eBay seller before someone bought up the remaining sets to flip. $1-$500's :(
