You know, it's easy enough to say that particular chips just don't appeal to you, with applying denigrating absolutes to chips that other people probably really like, whether that like is for their inherent beauty or for sentimental attachment.

And it's probably even less advisable when your media consists of pix of thousands of Desert Palms CCs, or your avatar is a chip whose color looks like something in between green pea soup and dog barf.

Ok. Got your point. To each their own. We all have opinions and are entitled to them. Good to know that we can’t have an opinion about what we like or don’t like and there are others to tell us what we should or should not do.

P.S. Maybe your first set of chips was a $20K rare Paulson or maybe it was a normal one like most of us. We all start somewhere.

Opinions are fine. Sometimes you see a kid that is really ugly, or at least in your opinion (or any sighted person's opinion), that child is ugly. It is fine to think that the kid is ugly. It is not considered proper behavior to tell the parents that the kid is ugly.

Same protocol exists on a chip forum about chips - except dice chips.

I'm sorry, are you suggesting that it's even remotely healthy for a human being to have the same emotional attachment to a piece of clay as to their children?

LOL... there is no shortage of people calling chips UGLY on this forum (it took me 60 seconds and I only looked at the first 2 of the 10+ pages)

lol.....for the butt-ugly Classics inlay, no fucking way.

The most boring and ugly of a fairly boring chipset. Worth $2 though!

That's a good eye - the ugly (to me) on that chip was the label. Prime candidate for a relabel.

You should post a pic of the relabel (y)

An ugly one.

To summarize, it's an ugly 12-14g slugged Chinese variant of the rare $28 cow chip. Not ceramic, prolly not poker either. YW.

Ha.
I’ve insulted your chips before and you survived. We’re adults here, I don’t think we need to sugar-coat our opinions. I’m not trying to be hurtful or start fights or anything - if people think I’m an idiot for my opinions, I’ll run that risk.
