Two Pair
You might remember me by my Weekly Chip Pr0n threads back from 2009 on Chiptalk - the ones with the extreme closeups.
I am letting some of my sets go. Since it was suggested by several users that I should auction them off to give everyone a chance at the chips, I will do just that, and start with my Samurai Palace BCC clay chips.
Up for auction: set of 561 Samurai Palace BCC clay chips
Breakdown:
5 200 chips
25 160 chips
100 120 chips
500 81 chips
The chips still are in the same condition seen in the pictures, since they have only seen the felt perhaps at two occasions. In addition to that, I always forbid my players to shuffle the chips.
There are two different types of 25s, and of 500s, in the set. I have added pictures comparing them. The color variations in the 25s are barely noticable at all. It is a bit more pronounced in the 500s, but not by much.
Auction ends on February 28th, 20.00h CET (Central European Time)
Starting bid is USD 450.00
Shipping is extra, of course, and depends on where you live. I myself live in Berlin, Germany.
Shipping to most overseas destinations, including the US and Canada, is USD 75.00 including tracking and insurance. There is no guarantee how long shipping takes; it can mean to or three weeks, or even longer.
If you want premium shipping, which takes only 10-14 days, shipping is USD 108.00.
It's up to you which shipping option you prefer.
Shipping to an EU destination is USD 37.00.
If you cannot send the money in EUR, then a paypal currency conversion fee of 2.5% of the total comes on top, even if you send with F&F.
I have a lot of experience with overseas shipping, and chip packaging. In my heydays I owned 46 different sets of poker chips, nearly all of which I bought from overseas. About 20 of them have been sold over the years, also mostly overseas. I have never lost any shipment, and I have a very good idea of what professional chip packaging looks like. I promise the chips will arrive safe and sound!
