This will be an auction style sale. The set will be auctioned off as a whole, no splitting at this time.
The auction will run till Sunday, February 7th 2016 at 9:00 pm PST.
After 9:00 pm PST, the auction end after 5 minutes of no increase from the last bidder.

Up for auction is a cash set of 1,022 T.R.King Rounders.
22 x $0.25 Chips Mint, never been used, condition. Shuffled maybe once or twice.
400 x $1.00 Chips Mint, never been used, condition.
300 x $5.00 Chips Mint, never been used, condition.
200 x $25.00 Chips Mint, never been used, condition.
100 x $100.00 Chips Mint, never been used, condition.

Rules:
Starting Bid: $3,000.
Bids must be in a minimum of $10 increments, but can be up to your max bid.
Only bids posted here will count, to keep things nice and fully public.
Edited posts are void.
Bidders must have a minimum of 50 posts on PCF for their bids to valid.
Highest bidder at the end of the auction is the winner.
PayPal F&F (or you cover PP fees) within 3 days of auctions close.
Shipping is free in US, sorry no international shipping.
I reserve the right to change the rules if necessary to ensure the integrity of the auction and to handle unforeseen problems/disputes.

Other Notes:
If anyone was wondering, Im selling because I have other chip projects in the works, and the monies would help with those projects. Plus, I figured someone else would be able to enjoy these more than I can.

The misprinted red $500 is NOT a part of the auction. That unicorn is either being buried with me, or being sent back to the original seller. I bought an additional Red 5 to make the rack complete.

If you have any questions, you may PM me the question, or ask it in the thread, and I will try to answer ASAP.

Here are the goods :

I know, not a super easy decision, but its been sitting on my shelf ever since i bought them. Don't have the heart to break them out and use them myself.
I've figured out that i get a greater joy from building sets, over holding onto complete ones. The daily search for that "missing" piece ..

My wife would disagree, whenever she hears my new Classified alert she gives me a dirty look knowing that money could soon be flying.

You sure we can't pm bids just to tilt rainman?

The funny thing is, in real life, it's pretty difficult to actually tilt me. I'm probably one of the most phlegmatic guys you'll ever meet. I've probably had more passengers reach across me to honk my horn at crazy drivers than I have honked at myself. I'm usually just fucking with you guys.

To help those without blazing Internet speeds, at the end of the stated bidding period, why not have the auction end after 5 minutes of no increase from the last bid? Seller gets max value, and buyers get a nice clean contest. Win win.

I actually have another Rounders project in the works that I'll post soon (it's a pretty big order), so I probably won't be the animal you guys think I am with this set. This will probably be my only bid on these. I'll take them if no one else wants them, but I'm not gonna fight for these like I will for Pick Hobson 50c chips or The Grove CICs.

I also am not posting this in an effort to keep the bid prices down so I can snipe it at the last second. I promise if I decide to be competitive on these that you'll know it at least a day in advance. I'm not shady like that. I'm very transparent and honest - in case you haven't figured that out already :)

This is how I will run any auctions I post for sure. A rolling timer after the last bid.

5 minutes huh? Max value, and eliminates snipping...
Eliminating the "snipping" aspect is a double edge sword i think, but that would mean the person who wanted the set the most, will inevitably get it.
Original post, updated. Let the dice roll, and land where they do.

He may not want to, but in good faith, you should give Rainman a chance to rescind his bid, given that you changed the auction rules after he placed it ;)

Fair enough, Its only fair that i give the bidders a chance to change their minds, if i change the rules.
Luckily only Rainman made a bid so far.

So how about it @RainmanTrail, would you like to rescind your bid, based on the rule change?

Now that I know how Rainman operates, that wont fly.

I need a sniper by proxy. Preferably one with fast hands and internet speeds.

I gave everyone a full minute to outbid me on those Pick Hobson fracs. I was sitting there with fingers crossed. Even had that adrenaline rush like you get when you flop bottom set on an all spade board and you get it all in against TPTK nut flush draw on the flop! Fortunately, the spade didn't fall for me that time :D

No, I don't think that'd be fair. I'd like to rescind my bid based on how much money I'm spending on this other set of custom Rounders chips though! Hahaha. I'm getting about 4,000 chips... but I think that'd be pretty douchey of me to post a bid and retract it. Although, there aren't any other bidders yet. Either way is fine. I don't mind buying these if I have to, but I'm almost certainly out of the running if this thread heats up.

GLWS!

OK guys, I just talked to Weckedy, I'm going to do the douchebaggy thing and retract. I really love these chips, but I just have too many other sets I'm working on right now. I would just end up putting these right back up for sale (and to be honest, if I won them at this price, I'd probably post them for more). I'm confident they will sell to another buyer, but I'm out of the race.

GLWS... I'll be watching from the sidelines on this one! Beautiful chips!!!
