Based on current PCF market values that T5 is worth at least $22 a chip...I bid $82 on the set

Tough crowd for the sarcastic sense of humor on this board.
Personally, I've lost my bearings in poker chip collection and pricing.

For real, no sarcasm. For real, stunned at the price of $22/chip.

I really don't understand what you are basing this research on. I'll admit that I've fallen off as of late however, and I'm near ready to throw in the towel on this hobby. Thankfully, I do have a rack of the T5 and I didn't pay even close to $22, not even in the same ballpark. I guess I'll make 100 sample sets based on this new market pricing:unsure:

The “market research” and price quote was the sarcasm and dry sense of humor. The chips themselves are amazing…but a full set is way too rich for me, from what I have seen so far on the forum.

Every time I've seen sample set prices, the price for a full set is much higher than it would be to buy them individually. I'm just glad I got my sample set of these before the prices got completely out of hand.

Not $22 a chip. Just a $15 premium to snag a harder to find version of a great sample set. Easy to justify, even before the market got crazy.

To each their own. Their is no justification for any of this hobby. It's a pure degenerate need and Im glad this is the state it's in. It will force me to stop and move on to other things.
