Hello all,

Over the years I've come across posts from PCF in my Google searches and always found good content, so I finally decided to join the cult!

I've been playing poker for 15 years. When I first started, I held a home game for which I built my own poker table top and bought a 500pc plastic chip set on eBay. For cards I was using those hole punched casino blackjack throwaways lol.

Since then, I haven't really played much in home games, nor held one. However, it may be time to start one up again, and I'm not mickey mousing it this time. I'm in the market for chips and a table.

Looking forward to interacting on here with other poker enthusiasts!

Welcome bro,

PCF I met this guy at the tables of the encore Las Vegas poker room, cool guy that sparked interest for the same passion, poker chips and home games so I informed em that you gotta get on this forum.

This site will be a good tool for you, and like everyone here stresses order samples so you can feel em touch em and make sure you get exactly what you like.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm relatively new to the group, but from what I gather so far, it's a bunch of great people here. You'll enjoy it!

Welcome! You will definetly find plenty of chips to buy and plenty of interesting content here (a lot of smart and funny people on the forum). I initially joined looking for a set of good quality chips but now i spend so much time here appreciating the insight that people here share about chips, poker and other topics. So hope you will like it here as much as I do and good luck with your hunt for chips.

Down the rabbit hole with the rest of us! Welcome, seems like an influx of new members lately including myself, I was amazed how many others share my passion for chips even on eBay before I knew anything about PCF I did the typical check all new listings 500 times a day, I was amazed how quick any decent chips that popped up buy it now where gone sometimes in minutes... I said to myself is there that much of a demand for great chips... Then I found this place! Such an amazing collaboration of knowledge and appreciation for chips... I found my new home, I'm here to stay and hope that I can contribute to others on the same journey as the collection grows. I attended an easy coast mini meet up with @krafticus and to this day I am still blown away just by meeting some life time chip collectors and awesome card players... I though ok maybe everyone is nice when on the forum but in person I am expecting normal run of the mill card players... I couldn't have been more wrong. Everyone I met there was as kind as could be even to a much younger chipper like myself (36) and my girlfriend (24) who goes by @FordPickup92 on here.... Again absolute kindness and generosity in chip exchanges. A day that I can confidently say I will never forget. Anyways welcome friend any questions you have ask and there are people wait way more knowledge than myself here that will be happy to steer you in the right direction! I couldn't agree more than your statement of Mickey mousing it up... Find great chips that you love and skip the in between sets if you can afford it!! Fellow chipper Ben

Welcome!!! Glad to have you with us in the forum. Therea some great table builds floating around here!!! I couldn't agree more this is a fantastic place full of knowledge and most are quick to help out a new member or friend!! As far as the chips go, ben couldn't have said it any better, welcome down the rabbit hole  :ROFLMAO:
If you're looking for paulsons this forum by far has the most readily available! There are also site vendors who sell paulsons, as well as other brands and customs. Hope you enjoy your time here and have a chance to make friends with more fellow members!

Happy chipping, Brie

Thank you for the warm welcome Ben! Over the years, I've randomly come across posts on PCF. Now, finally I get to see what's behind the curtain, and I'm thoroughly impressed :)

Same here when I started my aces search... Apache had a 500 chip set... We found 200 on eBay but after that the path went dark... Real dark... Like what am I going to do now... Everytime I searched it was either a pfc of chip talk which I believe is no longer going .. I put a request in to join several times but never a response... with help from the amazing members here I managed to complete my set .. not perfect but happy enough and very playable... With out this place and it's amazing members I believe I would still be at 700 and no where near a usable set!

Think I’m going to play at aria tonight bro, hope you run good at Wynn

@Justmoney
Okay thanks and good luck to you too! I might hit Golden Nugget again... I played there for the first time yesterday. I have to say I actually like the uncapped 1/2 NL they run. Their clay chips feel weighted and are noticeably heavier than at other rooms. The $5 chips were old and worn down. The $1 were pretty much all brand new. I'm definitely a fan of their overall design. Aria chips are nice too, and much cleaner than most other rooms.

I believe the nuggets 5’s are leaded as to why they are heavier, the older casino chips are leaded
