I have been away from poker for a while and recently got the bug again. I have only been playing local cash games and seems that I am the only one interested in taking any initiative in setting up any games. Typically between 5 and 8 players, .10/.25 or .25/.50 depending on the group.
I bought my first tourney set and thought I would build on it over time. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case and now find the price to add to my WTHC set may take some patience so decided to do a small cash set. I love the feel of the Paulson’s and after hours of reading on this forum and the input and advice of many of the users I am starting to get a better idea of what is available now that new Paulson’s for home use is not an option.
Some of the labels available are fantastic and think this may be the route for me.
Still lots of reading to do and appreciate the good nature of everyone.

Kind of excited myself.

While Paulson's are heavily favored, especially in this forum, and for a good reason, also consider the alternatives. In addition to Paulsons, I also own CPC's and Bud Jones, which I think are amazing chips.

If you are looking to build a variety of cash sets, there is a good deal right now for some Bud Jones:

Happy chipping!

Welcome! WTHC are beautiful chips, lucky you have a base set! I think overtime you will achieve your tourney set goals!
Cheers, enjoy the forum!

Welcome, Brad! I have some home game Paulsons as well and as many times as I consider selling them, it's very difficult to go through with. The quality of labels you can get now are amazing and add a nice custom feel to any set.

There are also some new minty casino chips you can buy such as PNY, Jacks Detroit and a few others.

Welcome to PCF.

You can get casino used Paulsons for under $1 per chip. Of course, mint Paulsons are also available, but the price tag is much higher.
