Hi,

In 5 card draw, if a (crazy) player decides to change 5 cards, he can't get 5 consecutive ones from the stub : (s)he gets 4 and then the last one after others have changed or after a burn if nobody changes after him/her.

What about Badugi ? Can someone get 4 consecutive cards from the stub or the same rule applies ?

That's a new one to me. So if the guy who is last to act asks for 5 cards, you're telling me the dealer is supposed to give him 4, then burn one, then give him his 5th?

That’s like telling someone don’t draw to a gutter on the river

Yes !

Robert's rules of Poker :

Drawing 5 cards :
6. A player may draw up to four consecutive cards. If a player wishes to draw five new cards,
four are dealt right away, and the fifth card after everyone else has drawn cards. If the last
player wishes to draw five new cards, four are dealt right away, and a card is burned before
the player receives a fifth card. [See “Section 16 – Explanations,” discussion #9, for more
information about this rule.]

4 in a row (and will then probably raise)

And of course stay pat and keep on betting / raising on the next drawing rounds !
