The yellows and purples are beautiful. I can tell you that almost any blue chip ($1 or fractional) does not contrast well with the largely blue inlays on the $5s. I'm looking to buy some fracs for Bahamia set as well

I've used these particular lavender (light purple) chips with my (soon to be liftapint's) Bahamia chips. I found they worked better than blue fractionals as they contrast better with the 5's (as JDabs26 mentioned).

Again, use the multiplier trick, and play with all authentic Bahamia chips -- and maybe even get those gorgeous Bahamia hundos into play!

Playing .25/50: players buy in for whatever you allow, say $50. You give them four times that amount -- $200 -- in chips.

You play the evening as regular $1/$2. When you cash out, count their dollars, divide by 4, and give them that amount of cash.

Hidden advantage #1: no need for hideous hot-stamped bogus Bahamia chips whose spots don't fit in (IMO, of course).

Hidden advantage #2: everyone gets used to playing $1/$2 in case they ever get to a real casino.

We tried this a couple times. I thought it was a good idea, but no one else in my group seemed to like the idea. Same with using $25 chips as quarters. My solution was to stop hosting $0.25/0.50 and host only 1/1, 1/2 and the occasional 2/5 games

Thank you. But I think I am going to make the gals wear their big girl pants for this game, and play $1/$1. That or use the multiplier strategy. I am going to go ahead and close this ad (when I get to a real computer), since I am not going to go the frac route any longer.
