I like the excitement of being first. First to get one? No way to know that. First to post pics, first to sell on eBay- yes. First to notice that lone $5 Aurora Star chip when it appeared on eBay before everything else that followed.

I started the Bally's $4 at $9.99 and hope it hits triple digits.

one of two things will happen now. 1) they will really be put on lockdown or 2) when 50 guys/day come in hounding them for chips, they will relent and start selling them making them worth exactly $4.

When nobody has one, the first is the most expensive. Demand for the chip is now one person less, and that will lower the price.

Supply & demad. This chip is for the rake / house use only. I was there last week & denied purchase. Even with promise of a tip, I was told no 3 different times. Until I found someone who didn't get the memo and told me yes. A few have gotten out. How many? Who knows? Tell a guy he can't have/buy something is a sure way to make him want it even more.

This is hands down the 'craziest' price I have seen a single chip sell for in relation to what it is. The most I ever paid for a chip was $100 but that was for an authentic WSOP 48mm 1,000,000 denominated chip....of which only 100 were made.

Bally's simply calls GPI and orders more of these
