Trade Barrels of Aurora Star $100 43mm chips (1 Viewer)

Up for trade are at least two barrels (I may trade a third) of 43mm Aurora Star $100 chips.

These are the types of things I am interested in:

• Cool snappers I don’t have already
• Small crown TRKs (still missing some chips from the Rainbow Club)
• Hub inlaid chips I don’t have
• Inlaid/spotted Fractionals
• Nifty older chips from places like Stardust, Glitter Gulch, etc
• Golden Nugget 5000 NCV with shapes inlay
• Mapes small crown $100 chip
• Riverside $25 and $100 chips
• Sample sets from either real casinos or home sets. Pillage and Plunder/Lady Luck Club would both be highly motivating.
• Other neat chips? Got something interesting? Make an offer!

I am generally *not* interested in multiples of a single chip. Multiple chips in an offer are fine...just don’t prefer duplicates. Also generally not interested in ceramics.

Don’t collect singles? Don’t worry! Go find nifty stuff on eBay or at Spinettis that can be bought now and put it in an offer. If the offer is accepted, buy it and have it sent to me as your trade.

If you make an offer that isn’t acceptable to me for whatever reason, I will let you know. You can always counter or make another offer.

So, whatcha got? OFFERS TAKEN BY PM ONLY!!! I will take offers for at least 72hours. It may go longer, but not shorter. You can get multiple barrels if you make multiple offers. Also, priority won’t necessarily go to the biggest offer, but rather the chips I want/need the most.

I will say this - the distilled offers so far will make this choice *very* difficult, and may well illicit the trade of a third barrel. Not all of it is high in market value - some are things I simply find desirable.

There’s some really neat stuff out there!

Also, let me put this question to rest: I am not pitting offers directly against one another or otherwise saying what offers have been made. Not only would that break the integrity of the process, but it’s somewhat fruitless. I’ve turned down offers that might fetch multiple hundreds of dollars in the open market just because I’m not interested in the product nor reselling it. If an offer has little/no value to me, then offering more of nothing just gets me more nothing.

First off, thank you to all who participated - even those who dabbled but ultimately decided not to make an offer! You helped make the process more fun, and I got to see some great chips!

To those offers I didn't choose - In all honesty, I wish I had more barrels to trade. Thank you for making the decision tough.

Ultimately what it came down to was customs. Each chosen offer had a set of customs included with it. The three new sets of customs I'll be adding to my collection are...

The Lone Star Rounduo chips are the nicest ICONs I’ve ever seen, consumer-grade or otherwise. Seeing these makes me think the Gemaco promotional chips are actually meant to be a competitive option with the ICONs. Higher quality results at a similar price point. It also makes me wonder if the ICONs are some type of ceramic produced using a similar dye sublimation technique. If that’s the case, their technique/product is shit. We can get GameOn chips at a similar/slightly reduced price for a better, longer lasting product.

The Pillage and Plunder set is something of my white whale. Finally landed it! As a side note, the set arrived in what I can conservatively describe as half the nation’s supply of painters tape.

If the P& P was my white whale, then the Lady Lucks are my unicorn. Absolutely love this set. Probably my favorite custom $20 of all time.
