After a month or so of searching on Facebook marketplace - i finally landed a folding poker table for pretty cheap and good condition, decided to refurbish it, here are the results.

Well done. Was it easy to get the railing off?
Surprisingly very easy, the are about 6 sets of screws for each railing under the table. After that you can just lightly pry under them around the cup holders since the glue is the only thing attaching them

Did you have to do any repairs to any of the rail?

I'm looking at a used table, but the rail has some spots where it's ripping. I don't imagine it would be too difficult either.

I also have some speed cloth that looks exactly like what you've used. Was that a big improvement over the original table material? I think I'd eventually get a topper but wondering it that might be a worthwhile upgrade.

Funny enough, I JUST (like a week ago) re-did the railings because I was bored. For $40 off Amazon I got 2 sheets of thicker pebbled faux leather that came out great. I didn’t even bother unwrapping the old railing leather, just went right over it (came out flush and smooth no problem).

My only complaint is that the faux material I used was an absolute pain to stretch out so that there isn’t any wrinkles where the railing begin to turn (mostly on the inside part of the railing is where you run into this). It came out great but it’s definitely a two man job. Really just stretching the material, tacking it with a staple gun and repeat.

Just be conscious picking your material if you do the railings. Depending how thick of material you use, it may be difficult to get them back in the original places if the ends of each railing get too thick.

The speedcloth was from Amazon, I ironed it to get the creases out before throwing it on and it’s a game changer compared to the original felt, plastic cards are like iceskates on this thing.

If you have any questions you can always PM me, more than happy to help
