BCC Samurai $5 = Paulson ____ red? (1 Viewer)

Hay peeps!

Does anybody know what the Paulson equivalent is for the BCC Samurai $5 red base color?



I would GREATLY appreciate it if somebody could snap a pic of a Samurai $5 next to some Paulson red color samples to see what the closest match is. I can send a Samurai $5 plus money for return shipping if needed.

Bonus question: What Paulson THC chip matches that base color?

Yes. Differing color is definitely a problem with the samurais. In my experience, the $1s are the worst and $5s and $25s to a lesser extent. On the $5s, I mainly notice a difference in the black edge spot. It can be purplish, but base colors can differ slightly as well.

There are very few colour "equivalencies" between other manufacturers of clay and Paulson. C&J, BCC, and old ASM/new CPC have all different formulas.
