Just got these chips. I love the chips the inlay I don't care for. Maybe relabel or just put them back on the market.

Just bought Rick's set and would love an opportunity to buy just a few more quarters and maybe just a handful of high denoms. Can't wait to see these in the flesh. I've never handled a flame mold BCC. I hope they break in nicely like T-molds.

Sorry I had to sell all of those chips to purchase my tournament CPC set.
 
Haha oh well. I just liked the idea of grabbing a couple of high denoms just for the sake of it. I really won't need them :)
 
Can anyone tell me the history of these chips? When did the Turf Club poker room operate in Vegas? I found only this reference but I'm not convinced it's the same place.
 
Oh boy ... sorry to break this to you, but the Turf Club was actually a Fantasy line, that BCC made for the public.
 
Haha nah that's cool. I'm actually not a fan of ex casino chips TBH and have never owned any. Just something about knowing thousands of dirty hands have touched the chips. Yeah yeah I realise they can be cleaned :P

Very interesting to know this though, thanks Rick. I think I'm actually happy to hear it :)

I dont have an answer to this question unfortunately. Hopefully someone else here has a better idea of the production time line.
 
I have a smaller set, as the attached photo... Love them very much!
If you decide to release some of yours, please let me know -- I'm thinking about expanding mine!

They went with the tourney set. My thought was to re label theses and use the purple $10's as 5,000's
 
Victor @doakwolf Between the two of you have all the turf club chips that I purchased then sold. One cash set and the tourney set.
 
:D:D:D I guess one each of the Green/Black/Orange/Brown/Purple's are still "MIA"... for relabeling jobs, maybe... :confused::confused::confused:

Tiny bit more pr0n from this set. I'm upset - was all ready to go for tonight's game and now due to sickness and new girlfriends, I've had too many cancellations. Oh well. It happens.

Hi Caleb, this is the point where you start offering Victor and I exorbitant amounts of money for our sets :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:.

Just kidding. Well, not really. No, I really am kidding. Victor and I have been searching for some add-ons for a while now without luck. I'm guessing A) not many of these were sold and/or B) those who own them really like them. They seem to be one of the rarer BCC home sets. Good luck with your search. Be sure to share photos with us if you do get lucky and find some.

P.S. @AK Chip , I'm trading some of the $25s and the "MIA" sample set with Victor for his $10s so he'll end up with the complete tourney set and I'll have the $10s and just one barrel of $25s (it will be fine for my micro stakes games). Worked out well for both of us in the end :)
 
Yeah, i more or less had to cold call people for sets. Sometimes just posting a "wanted" ad is just not enough.
 
I have a sample set of the chips I bought a while back. I've wanted a set since just haven't had any luck finding one. It seems I'm always a day late or a dollar short. I'm looking to purchase a set of nice chips now, and ditch the cheap ones I've been playing with.
