Not Mine Bellagio $5k Chip (1 Viewer)

Lol. Stolen or copies... hmmmm.

I wonder how many chips weren't recovered from the bellagio bandit guy.

Aw :(

I wonder how hard it would be to get this into an uncapped $10/20/40 game or something? Do dealers have rfid readers at the tables? Genuinely curious abou about the types of RFID implementation, assuming most chips >$100 are tagged?

Those fingers... what was it dug out of a body cavity or something? Why are the fingers so.... moist looking?!?

you said moist.

I am guessing if the "will take 1200-2000 per chip" is correct, the lowest accepted offer is $1200.

Saw a special on him, he said he used up the low denomination chips in poker, trying to sell the cranberries is what ultimately got him caught.

Maybe we should pitch in and help them buy a camera and maybe a towel to dry their hands.....

LOL, if these were legit, and it says "per chip", so I assume there's multiples. It's $3k per chip. Why the hell wouldn't someone get their ass on a plane ($500?), cash them shits in person. Probably less time involved than posting an eBay ad... Gotta be scam just based on that... and exhibit number two, their name "RiskTakers". Yup, legit. :)

Oh, I also forgot that I just won the powerball, but I'm now in a state that doesn't have powerball. So... I'll sell it to you for $15,000, because I'm too lazy to travel to another state and cash that ticket in for 24million...

I'm guessing they are stolen, and you have exactly zero chance of cashing them in if you cannot prove you won (or purchased) them from the casino.

Agreed. Chip pictured is legit. However it's just a picture. Even assuming the seller does have the chip in their possession, and they do ship it to you safely, and you do receive the chip, all you have is an awesome card capper.

Say we get into the cage, and through the security doors there, and down the elevator we can't move, and past the guards with the guns, and into the vault we can't open, say we do all that... we're just suppose to walk out of there with 150 million dollars in cash on us without getting stopped.

Yeah :D

I don't think it's a scam. Rather, (based on a quick bit of Googling) it looks like casinos track their high denoms, and the seller is hoping at least one buyer doesn't know that. It seems a couple folks have gotten screwed trying to cash in a lone high-value chip...

I'm guessing this chip is legit, although cashing it in may prove to be damn near impossible. If you're a gambling man, you could try and get it into play and break it down for smaller denoms. But even then, with only one chip to put in play I'm guessing the croupier, dealer, pit boss, etc., would question the chip's source, and would not allow it to be put into play or exchanged.
