Looking through some of the posts re structures and im wodneirng why a big blind ante is rarely mentioned? It's the norm now in Irleand and the UK, so is it different in the US? A BB ante certainly is much handier for a self deal home game

Big blind ante is everywhere in casinos/card rooms across USA.

As for home games, who knows. Seen plenty without any ante at all which I think is insane but hey, your game your rules

So much easier than everyone having to ante but I hate paying the double big blind when I'm short stacked that's for sure.
