Big Ole Rockingham Park Lot Found (40 Viewers)

Was able to snag this large lot of Rockingham Park chips. Still tryna figure out the plan, but wanted to share the find first. $5s and $25s are damn near mint which I’m told is very hard to come by. There was about 1700ish $2 sluggo hot stamps that I didn’t even bother to take pictures of. Total haul to the nearest good barrels not including the sluggos:

$2-1180 total, 80 need to be cleaned
$4- 1020 total, 20 to be cleaned
$5-100
$25-400 total, 100 to be cleaned

I never made it up there, but just about everybody else I've ever played cards with has a story. Cool find!

Same here, never got around to going unfortunately. Yea, 2016 it sounds like. I chatted briefly with @Jimulacrum who seems to be the resident expert on the rockingham chips by quick search, learned a lot about the chips and the backstory on the denominations and whatnot, very interesting!

For how close I was to it for most of my life, still shocked I never went. I feel like it sort of fell under the radar, sort of forgot it was there.
