Hey all, finally ready to order a shiny permanent token of my affection for the girlfriend, so I'm selling off everything that's not part of my 4 sets to gather some funds. Open to trades for BJ $500s (or even BdWalks) or purple no mold chips. Will combine shipping on multiple lots, if you don't like my price shoot me an offer on something. Buyer to pay actual FRB shipping, PP F&F.

6x Sam's Town $1s, vg to Excellent - $12

70x Pyramid Casino $100s. Excellent near mint aside from some asshat sharpie-ing on black 312 spots over the beautiful original spots. I spent an hour last night with rubbing alcohol and a magic eraser trying to bring resurrect them. More alcohol and elbow grease could get them better, but my arms were cramping. - $75

25x Kenmore Lanes $.25 chips. Never seen these in qty, good used uncleaned condition. $18
paulsons -8.jpg

1 rack Red, 1 rack White "KS" hotstamps, near mint. I scraped the hotstamps and applied Gear labels to about 40 of each rack, they'll come off easily enough, SOLD
paulsons -12.jpg

15x Carson Nugget $1s, arc yellow, would make a killer $1k relabel. These are almost impossible to harvest, lost $60 at the blackjack table trying to get these and they don't have a cage to sell any from. Ultrasonic cleaned and oiled, vg to excellent condition, would like to recoup my money - $55 SOLD
paulsons -3.jpg

Two racks Day Green roulettes, one rack labeled. Good used relatively clean. SOLD
140x Chocolate roulettes, good used condition, partially labeled. $75 (I think I have 60 more chips somewhere...)

60 Casino Real $1s. Live chips, rare to find spotted yellow THCs, would make great $1k relabels. Good casino
used condition, ultrasonic cleaned and lightly oiled. - sold

Need 1 kenmore chip! Just saw one taped to a poster at the Kenmore cardroom. I was told the dealers snagged them when the were pulled from play, well before the place closed.

Can you harvest more of the Casino Real Ones? I'd seriously consider these if there was a possibility of getting 20 more.

And Congrats on the decision!

Not sure if this means a marriage or not, but either way, congrats.

On a chip-related note, would you mind leaving up the prices for the items that sold, just for reference. (I didn't catch the price of the Carson Nugget $1s, and I'm very interested to know that price in particular, because I have a couple barrels of those $1s with sharp edges.)

Just a thought, but if you can test out a couple chips to see exactly how much of the black marks it's possible to remove, it might make someone more interested. I remembered someone was looking for chips with this exact color and edge spots - just searched, it was @XBobdog

Someone was looking for some Paulson chocolate solids recently, trying to remember... was it @Psypher1000 ? [EDIT - nope, it was @JFCJ]

Sorry, the Carsons sold at $60 for the barrel.

I'll see just how much I can clean one of the Pyramids, I just got overwhelmed after spending an hour on the 3 barrels haha.

You might seriously try Goop from the auto parts store, not the one with pumice. It's worked wonders for me.

I can imagine. Those are rough. I've cleaned a couple small ink marks off a couple chips before, but it took some time and trial & error. I soaked the chips in a small bowl of rubbing alcohol or non-acetone nail polish remover (I tried both) overnight to remove some ink. I ended up needing a process of: soak; scrub with toothbrush (or magic eraser); repeat; until the ink was completely gone. I'm not sure if it was sharpie ink though. If the inlays of the Pyramids are OK being soaked for a long time, that might do the trick.
