Isn’t this getting silly now. Oh well post away I guess. The BTP chips are really in a class by themselves and I’m not sure what the point of cheap wtb posts are.

I don’t want to see a mint chip in here. If you have mint, I ain’t buying.

Get out!

Maybe, but isn't it silly to ask for 10 bucks a chip when they only cost 1.5 to purchase? I don't see you saying anything about that in their sales/auction threads?

....The BTP chips are really in a class by themselves....

Dunno about that, but imo, they are beautiful. The only reason I haven't wanted some is that there's something that puts me off a bit about the use of the word "felt."

While I somewhat share your sentiment, one could argue that the two sellers til this point put their chips up for auctions and let the market decide what the chips were worth. In the end, I wasn't willing to pay $8-9/chip for a playable set... but someone was, so what I can really say against that?

Absolutely not. In virtually every marketplace I can think of, the relationship between a commodity’s cost and it’s market value is indirect and correlative at best...

The class by themselves comment was more in reference to quantity compared to boat chips etc., although quality is quite high in my opinion.

Asking ten bucks is a high price I guess but judging by the auctions people are willing to pay more than $6. Asking $2.25 made me wonder if you were trolling. Asking for casino used BTP chips is unarguably silly.

IMO if someone performs a miracle they should be allowed to charge admission.
People are either butt hurt they didn't get them or the people who did are profiting from "a miracle". It's a free country though so both the owners and haters are free to do whatever they want and everyone else is free to judge them both :)

I tip my hat to the people that pulled this off. I hope to find an angle at some point to get Paulsons made.
I tip my hat a second time for their great colors/design and foresight to carpe diem the shit out of this and get 43 mm chips made.
