Wanted Birdcage for 1000 chips, don't need racks (2 Viewers)

As the title states, looking for a 1000ct birdcage that is not complete trash. I don't want or need any racks. Not sure if this is ideal with shipping costs for such and item, might be better off buying new.

Just gonna try here before I head to Amazon and order in case somebody wants to get rid of one. They actually have a Versa cage, didn't even know that was a thing, expensive though.

BTW, Versa is just another importer, not an actual manufacturer. To my knowledge, all these things come from china.

I love my heavy dirty versa bird cages for transportation bc people can’t see what they are and the Justin racks keep them safe.

For showcase, there are several acrylic versions all seem the same, but I don’t trust them for transporting.

When shopping for acrylic bird cages, look for these five things:

• Thicker black handle with more rounded edges.
• Top of acrylic protrudes further above the black side guards.
• Top of acrylic is more rounded.
• Acrylic is much thicker (as seen on the top corners, and on the bottom when you pull the top off).
• The black handle is secured to the black base by THREE screws, not two (look underneath - not in my photo).

Good luck, as these better acrylic carriers are hard to find.

Keep in mind, they’re all coming out of China, and importers often don’t even know exactly what’s been shipped to them until/unless they open the box (years ago, even Josh Shore of Apache told me this).

I also recommend that you consid the 600 chip carriers rather than the 1,000 chip carriers.

Finding the better quality carriers, and using 600 chip carriers will give you a much more reliable storage/transportation solution.

They’re absolutely fine for transportation, IF you get the better quality cage with three screws on the bottom (among other things). Even better if you stick with 600 chip carriers.


Regarding my point about the importers not knowing what’s going to show up from China, take a look at the @Casino4you page for the 1,000 chip carrier (with a nice price):

Here’s a screenshot from the page:

You’ll probably immediately notice the BETTER QUALITY bird cage in the large top photo in the screenshot. However, if you look closely, the bottom three photos are of a DIFFERENT bird cage - one of the poorer quality cages.

That’s not to disparage the vendor! Again, even Josh Shore of Apache told me that he never knows what he’s going to get from China until/unless he opens the box when it arrives.

These are pretty dope and overkill, but I'll probably do it. They have one for $80 that will fit 10 racks as well.
