Good Afternoon,

Looking to see what people are doing for their blackjack cards? I just got a six deck shoe and discard tray and bought some cheapo cards off Amazon. Problem is the cards are too thick (did I say they were cheap?) and I can only fit five decks in the shoe lol.

The other issue is all these card setups have two decks of different colours (I'm thinking copag, KEM and slowplay). In Canada I have a bit of a tough time finding desjn or Modiano cards. Also I have never handled them and I don't want to drop $80 for 10 decks and find out I don't like them or something). I don't mind paying $24 for two decks but I need them to be the same colour backs lol.

Once I find six decks of cards that actually fit in a six deck shoe, how do you store your decks? I have no intentions of putting these cards back in their tuck cases Everytime I'm done playing lol.

Thanks,
Just a guy wanting to play some friendly blackjack tournaments at home

Just buy paper decks from the chiproom
This. Especially if you want them all in the same color.

As much as I like the idea of plastic cards (especially cuz they are easier to get in bridge size), I and almost everyone else I've played with hate actually playing with them. They can be such a chore to handle and God help you if you've never used them before lol.

Trade up for an eight-deck shoe. Then your working deck can be anything you want -- 4, 6 or 8 decks.

Jumbo index are also nice for blackjack. Easy to see, read and count.

not a bad idea. My 6 deck shoe came broken so Ill see what the difference is

NVM boys false alarm lol, turns out I bought a 4 deck shoe when I thought it was 6. It came broken but useable so now I'm just returning it to Amazon and I'll get the right one this time lol.
