Hello all,

I have for sale, the Blades V.2 CPC set on CSQ. This set is perfect for a Bond fan wishing to play a small stakes game. CPC did a grand job and the chips obviously speak for themselves.

The set also also includes 2 fantastic Alain cover/cut cards (bridge and poker size), and a card guard.

The Blades V.2 set has 355 chips. Total cost is $875USD + S&H (international buyers welcome). Payment via Paypal to adandsarz@gmail.com. (insurance, tracking, signature on delivery are additional options that incur further costs).

I have based the price on the old price/chip when the CSQ was in the 'cheaper' bracket. This set would be almost $100 more if done today.

25p x 136;
£1 x 166;
£5 x 48; and
£20 x 5.

If you have any questions regarding purchasing this set, don't hesitate to contact me via PM.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers,

Adam

P.S.

In order that we might avoid cluttering the thread with questions regarding the reason for the sale, I can happily say that it is not a bad reason. I have finished my book manuscript and have an interested publisher. I am embarking on the editing phase now and there are numerous expenses that are going to arise within the next 6 months, and there will be a lot less time to play poker. It will involve travelling and launches etc. The project has taken nearly 5 years and as it nears completion it is a sense of achievement, but also a little separation anxiety I guess.

Designing and playing with the Blades and Casino Royale CPC sets was a wonderful experience and provided a welcome distraction/therapy through this often depressing and difficult project. Rest assured, when the book is published, I will let you know. For those that don't know, it is an epic story of my family in the Great War (WW1 1914 -1918). We sent 11 young boys from my family to fight and the story (narrative style), is told from their point of view. It will appeal (I hope) to not only those interested in military history, but lovers of a great story. They fought alongside English, Scots, French, Canadians and the Yanks :). This is by no means farewell my friends, as we are bound by stronger ties than clay.

Edited to remove HS sample set for pending raffle.

Was recently discussing with my son how many alive today don't know much about ww1. I purposely read a book about it a couple years ago to learn a little more myself. I hope your book is a huge success!

Congrats on reaching the next level and hope it's a huge success for you, Adam. Always sad to see customs up for sale though, but glad to hear everything is OK.

These chips are really great too. GLWS

Thanks a lot chaps, that means a great deal to me.

Thanks Mike. It is a really big deal for the Aussies, but even then, they only know about a few parts of it. That is changing though. In the closing stages of the war, our boys fought alongside men from the 27th US Infantry Division and better pals they could not wish to find :-).

Good luck with everything, Adam. I'd also like a copy of your book!

Cheers mate :-), will make sure you get one.

Thanks mate, I appreciate that. It is exciting as it has been my passion for over 30 years.

Please put up a thread when your book is done, I'd like one (signed too!).

Good on you Jeff, I surely will mate :-)

Me too. I love reading war accounts.

Thanks Moose :-). The Canadians have some fine accounts to read mate, very fine accounts. Good boys to fight alongside of. Our boys often mentioned them and how they enjoyed having their Canadian chums on their flanks.

Looks like I am keeping these after all, unless there is anyone with a burning desire. If so, PM me.

Sorry to be back and forth on this. I thought about it more, and I just don't see poker as a part of my foreseeable future and these are back up for sale.

Its not about the money, I just don't need these anymore. My poker crew has moved on and I haven't had a regular game for nearly 3 years. I don't have the inclination either. Things change :).

If you are interested, let me know. :)

BTW, I have done artwork for just about every conceivable denom (except 2.50), up to 5K, so you will have the right to use the artwork for add-ons etc...

Will also throw in 3 copag set-ups (2 x poker and 1 x bridge) FREE. and 10 x racks. (they fit 21 chips if that helps).

Thanks for looking.

Cheers,
Adam
