For those that have played in or have followed a number of of the Zombie home games, you know that we throw out a bonus, worth ½ to 1 buy-in. Not a lot, but for the casual home player winning anything is a good feeling. Usually it's a Bad Beat bonus or a High Hand, and that just gets recorded on the payout monitor so all know who has it and what the hand to beat is.

But sometimes we'll do bounties, which is also noted on the payout monitor because we don't really have bounty chips. Other times we do point scoring bonuses, where one point is scored for doing something in the game, and the bonus goes to whomever scored the most points. Examples of different point scoring bonuses:
  • Score 1 point for each player eliminated (Sack Master Bonus, the Night before the Super Bowl)
  • Score 1 point for winning the first hand of a level (Lucky Hands Bonus, for a St Patrick's night event)
  • Score 1 point for every hand won with a king as a hole card (Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday Bonus)
  • Score 1 point for each hand lost at showdown with 3 of a kind or better (Tax Day Rebate bonus)
We had been scoring these points with mini-sized poker chips (or other tokens we had if they fit the theme) but none of them had our Zombie on them.

By chance, I've always been a fan of OWPS octagon chips. I just never really had a use for them...

I think you know where this is going

We will be ordering 100 of these soon, but I thought that if there are any collectors of "other" chips/card cappers out there, I would put this thread up and see if there was any other interest. Sal doesn't give breaks until the 2000 chip level, so there really isn't anything in this for me (unless you want 1900 of them).

Price will be 72¢ each, plus shipping, so let's call it $1 each unless you want a boxload of them, in which case we can calculate.

I don't think I have any octagons so I think I want more than one but less than 1900. I'll have to check when I get home but it'll probably be in the 6-10 range just to get a feel for them.

The running edge for the bonus chip.

I plan to make the order so as to get these in time for S@P distribution, but won't be placing it until after the Suicide Queen Melee.

@Poker Zombie , I really wan ten of them to check out the octagon in stacks and also simply to have another product from old West that I don't have any of, I didn't want to ask for ten for a few reasons though. If you are OK with selling multiples I would love to up my order...

Ordering more is not a problem. Order will be sent in tomorrow now - I had to make a few color revisions. I habitually draw things up in RGB mode, and Sal prints in CMYK.

...and it's martini o'clock. All work is done for the day.

Payment and delivery will be acceptable (and preferred) at S@P for attendees.

I won't worry about collecting payments until after the chips arrive.

96 of the 100 extra have been claimed.

Sal had his delays, but the final product came through, and I am quite happy. Sal was correct - black ink "spreads" so you don't get very fine lines (useful to know if you get your own done someday). They are still chalky (appears as discoloration near the edges), but clean up with a thumb rub.

Those that ordered samples, I will PM you for addresses when I am ready to ship. I don't like to ask for PP until I know they are ready to go out the door, and I'm going to need envelopes.
