If I'm correct the total amount in play in the final Teddy KGB scene was $60,000 and each player started with $10,000. Only 25, 100, and 500 chips in play.

By my calculations a set that would equate to:

Starting stacks for Mike and Teddy:
80 x 25
80 x 100

To get to the final amount in play at the end there would be an additional 80 500s

So, I think the breakdown would be 400 chips as follows:

160 x 25
160 x 100
80 x 500

Sound about right?

Yes, I believe you’re correct. Below is a summary based on my understanding.

Rounders Final Heads Up Game w/ KGB

Starting Stacks

Mike 80 x $25 ($2000)*
Mike 80 x $100 ($8000)*
KGB 80 x $25 ($2000)
KGB 80 x $100 ($8000)
*the $10k check Mike got from the Professor

KGB Rebuys
KGB 40 x $500 ($20000); rebuy after bust
KBG 40 x $500 ($20000); reload (unseen)**
** “feel free to reload at any time”

Set to emulate final scene (400 chips, $60k)
160 x $25 ($4000)
160 x $100 ($16000)
80 x $500 ($40000)

Final Tally
$10,000 check from the Professor
Doubled up to $20,000
(went to leave, sat back down, raised stakes)
Then doubled up again to $40,000
Then again to $60,000
(“turned my $10k into just over $60k”)

$15,000 went back to KGB/Gramma
$6,000 went back to the Chesterfield
$10,000 went back to Petrovsky (the Professor)
That leaves $30,000 (3 stacks of high society
“I’m back where I started with 3 stacks of high society”
