I'm seeing a lot of people get their Broken Arrow Pro Series in, I would love to hear all the initial impressions and pictures of these setups! Mine are hopefully coming in soon and I'll post my review here as well.

The new Broken Arrow Professional Series is a big win in my book. They are exactly the same thickness as the previous yellow box standard Broken Arrow decks. But, the Professional Series has a slicker, more flexible feel to them.

The Professional Series has a more true blood red color to the hearts and diamonds whereas the yellow box decks have a brighter, almost orangey red to them in comparison. The Professional Series red is pretty much identical to the red used by Desjgn.

In my opinion, the yellow box is "modern", the Professional Series is "classic" done perfectly, and Design is "artistic" in a very functional way.

The Desjgn cards are definitely more textured, but this is older stock and I don't have the newer blackjack index setups in front of me at the moment. The cream color used on the Professional Series is very similar to Desjgn's cream color...very nice, warm, soft color in person.

As far as card backs, I do prefer the green/blue backs on the yellow box decks, but the Professional Series backs are nice and clean in person. No complaints!

I have enjoyed playing with the yellow box setups and gotten good feedback from players. That said, I prefer these new Professional Series setups in every way except maybe a tie for card backs.

(I had to sprinkle in some Faro Dunes chips just because I love them so much and it hopefully brings some context/contrast in colors to the cards.)

Wish they kept the arrowhead for the Ace of Spades instead of the chieftain head.
I kind of felt that way at the beginning but then I thought I like the traditional shape that uses a new design inside of it. I think I'm leaning toward the new one versus the old but I don't dislike the old one.

I've gotten the new cards into play a few times since January now.

In short:
- prefer the card stock of the Pro Series vs. standard BA. Seems more flexible somehow.
- prefer the design of the card back on the standard BA vs. the more classic look of the new Pro Series
- prefer the font used on the Pro Series to the standard BA
- I wish the boxes for the J,Q,K were yellow like the rest of the deck. Not sure why these were left white?

Overall, a very decent setup of cards, esp. at the price for U.S. buyers, but given the selection of card choices we are blessed with over here in Europe, I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to order more given the extra shipping costs for me over here.

Leaving court cards white is the norm vs cream background (believe related to old printing methods, readability).

Some sets (not all) like Desjgn add the cream colors though to the skin of the court cards (faces/hands), which may help the contrast not be as stark as it is. Maybe something we consider in the next go around.

I got these new Broken Arrow Professional Series decks into play Friday night and didn't say anything about them. After playing for quite a while, one player said these are the nicest cards he's ever seen. We later briefly switched out to some Copags, then older jumbo index poker sized Desjgns, and then quickly back to these Professional Series decks. We played all mixed games and these were the favs all night by far. Handled really well, shuffle nice and easy, etc. Winner winner chicken dinner!
