Bubble Wrap Size? (1 Viewer)

I've seen some very informative threads on packaging chips for shipping. The one thing that I couldn't find was the recommended size of bubble wrap for wrapping the chips. I'm thinking either small (3/8" bubble) or extra small (1/8" bubble).

Recommendations?

I don't find the small bubble wrap useful for anything larger than an sfrb. IMO, the large bubble wrap is most useful for medium and large frbs.

Yeah, I ordered some of these, but doubt they will arive in time. In the meantime, I was hoping to just buy a roll of bubble wrap from Amazon. I've had folks ship me chips wrapped nicely in bubble wrap (and re-used it to ship some to others), but the idea of measuring the bubbles just didn't occur to me. I'm away from home now, so I don't have any of the wrap close by. The large bubbles are good for filling the box, but not ideal for wrapping each roll of chips. That probably calls for something closer to the the size in the padded flat rate envelopes, but I don't have one of those handy either.

3/8" is what i normally use.

I just reuse what people send to me. I have a box full of packing paper/bubble wrap/. Etc.
