Not Mine Bud Jones 700 Chips $800 (1 Viewer)

These are real casino chips From Florida came off a gambling boat called casino seven they went out of business about 20 years ago I have had these chips for about 15 years these were before all the World Poker Tour hype I have never seen another set of chips even close to these a very large set approximately 700 chips I paid over 1,600 for them when I bought them over 15 years ago these chips weighing on an average of about 11.7 grams.

I'm no expert, but I don't think those are Bud Jones chips...... I don't recall seeing that crown emblem on any BJ chips in the past, and they look like cheap Chinese plastic coin center chips to me. Certainly the case, cards, and buttons aren't from any real casino, and the ChipGuide has no record of any Casino Seven in Florida or as other wet chips. I call BS on the seller's entire story. Worth about a hundred bucks, if that.

And somebody slap some OCD sense into that guy's chip storage practices, yikes:

Yea, the story is a load of horse manure. There aren't any references to Casino Seven anywhere on the net. They're Chinese factory chips. The crown emblem is common to those chips. I don't know when they started, but it had been made for a while. Maybe originally a ripoff from Matsui chips?
 
I saw these a while back and looked all over for info on lucky seven casino and found nothing. If he did pay all that money, he got ripped off.
 
Minimum order 10k pieces. If you guys do a group buy, let me know how much you'll be selling your unloved, unused custom sets for. :)

It's a good site, I contacted a guy who makes leather goods and had him make me custom boxing gloves. Turned out perfect, good price and high quality. So I assume chips would be as stated, if that's what you want, go for it.

I would be much more interested in getting 10,000 clay chips from China but I guess I am going to need to take a mortgage out I guess...

$.07 a chip would be $700 for the 10,000. Therefore you would get a 500pc set for $35, albeit, you will have to sell the 19 500pc sets off that are left, $75 a set I'm sure you can do that and double your money.
As for shipping, that would be the factor in this, not sure what shipping would add to cost but I'm sure it's a chunk.
I do know they can negotiate.

Unsure if you're punking us, or really that naive.

Dunno about boxing gloves, but as far as Alibaba and chips go, in general it's a crap-shoot at best, and most likely that what you get isn't even close to what's advertised or promised.

Been there, done that.

No intention of "punking" anyone, nor am I naive, that's why contacting them for samples is available for those reasons.
Nice pictures though, Class act.
 
lol, samples from china. You clearly haven't done your homework in this area. They will tell you anything, and send you anything, to get your order and money. Then the reality sets in. Even prototypes won't be the same as the final product.

And this isn't assumption on my part, either.
 
Yep, it's full of stolen artwork, counterfeit chips, and in some cases, pics of proprietory chips that they couldn't produce even if they wanted to (lacking the technology) -- they will show you a picture of a genuine Paulson chip (that NOBODY can buy, except Rio), and tell you to your face that it's exactly what they will manufacture and ship. Of course, that's an impossible promise to deliver upon.

There are even companies on there that have my personal photos of my personal chip sets listed, touting them as for sale as if they made them and it's their product. At least when it comes to chips, that place is about 99% bullshit.


But they apparently make stellar boxing gloves. :rolleyes:

China: the final frontier.

I think I am going to order 1,000 units of something called a myPod and get me some cheap Samsoong TVs and while I'm at it, pick up a couple of cases of genuine Pallsun Top Hat and Cane for 0.08 cents a chip.... Minimum order: 50,000
 
these chips are definitely not Bud Jones! I've never seen them this form ...
Card 100% from China ...
the quality is very poor ... just paper ...
 
By the way, if we talk about Chinese goods ... they are not always so bad ...
such as screwdrivers, hammers or gloves for boxing ... :) I hope you understand what I mean ..
But when it comes to chips for poker or casino ... the quality is just horrible ...
rather normal ... but for inexperienced players ...
and it did not quite live up to the standards, preferences and expectations of users of sites CT and PCF.
