One of my favorite Paulson sets of all time for sure. Originally created and used as part of an illegal tournament series called the Cajun Cup which was held in Louisiana from 1986 through 1989. It was shut down in 1989 by the state police, but the chips were not confiscated.

See here for a flyer advertising the Cajun Cup in its final year. Phil Hellmuth won the final event played under the Cajun Cup name which may or may not be a selling point for some ;)

The only cash denominations made for the Cajun Cup were $1s, $5s, and $25s. These $1s were originally commissioned by @ssanel (back when Paulson was doing stamping for consumers through @Apache) for use with this set since the original $1s are extremely rare in quantity. My understanding is that Scott has 250 original $1s and the rest are still with the original source (not a PCFer or CTer) who has been extremely reluctant to part with them.

Full breakdown is:
400 - $1 (custom Cajun Cup hotstamps stamped by Paulson on the suits mold)
820 - $5
220 - $25

Each of the 2 smaller sets will include:
200 - $1
410 - $5
110 - $25

If you need fracs, I have 200 Paulson TH&C daisy (yellow) chips that I had intended to have labeled (possibly milled and labeled) with .25 or .50 labels made by @Gear. @Gear has already created the design for labels for additional denominations and you will also have the right to use the design if desired for this set. The 200 daisy solids would be an additional $120 on top of the closing auction price if desired. They are currently at @Gear's place so if you wish for him to do the milling/labeling or just the labeling, they're ready for it and can be shipped to you from there after it is complete. @Gear's design is perfect and will look spectacular on these chips and the yellow is the perfect frac color for this set imo.

Each set is $1500 each. Or if you buy both, you get a $200 discount and the total is $2800. I will hold them as one large set for the first 24 hours of this ad. So until 2:00 p.m. EST tomorrow, the set is only for sale together for $2800 plus shipping. After that time, the two broken up sets will be available separately. If you post "dibs" for one of the smaller sets, your dibs will be valid if the full set is not purchased within 24 hours. However, your dibs is contingent upon sending PayPal within 24 hours of my messaging you with instructions for PayPal.

All payments to be made via PayPal (either F&F or you pay the fees incurred).

All prices above are before shipping which will be at actual cost. Glad to ship internationally, but buyer must waive all liability for tracking and damage since insurance has proven essentially useless on international shipments as of late.

Always thought those are some cool chips, why haven't they been cleaned? Does Hellmuth's finger gunk make them much more appealing?

Distilled into its pure form and gently massaged into the eyeball, it can impart the ability to dodge bullets.

In all honesty, they're pretty damn clean. Certainly not nearly dirty enough for me to have wanted to clean them.

Should have put it in the OP, but I never got the $1s into play. Only used the $5s and $25s for a $5/10/15 limit game a couple of times, but no need for $1s in that game.

I like chips w/ history . GLWS

I guess there´s a typo:
...Each set is $1500 each. Or if you buy both, you get a 15% discount and the total is $2800.
15% = $450 less - you say $200 less so it´s ~7% cheaper.

Yeah I dunno what happened - I did it like 6 times on the abacus and got it wrong each time I guess. ;)

Thanks for the heads up - will fix in OP.

Any chance set will be split?

Assuming you mean other than by the 50/50 split proposed above, I'm hoping not to and it would be a bit early since it's only been up for about 6 hours. But if there's no interest in the full set or in the 50/50 split, I would consider other offers eventually. What were you considering?

Understood. I have a few things working right now, but I am slowly putting together a little mixed casino cash set.
I thought mixing in a rack of your $5's or $25's would be cool. Just bouncing ideas at this point.

No problem at all. I'll keep you in mind if this goes to a by the rack sale. I think there would be interest in the $1s by the rack as well, so it's a possibility, but not for some time. Thanks for the interest at any rate!

Somebody buy the whole thing because I'd really rather not break a set like this up into little pieces scattered throughout the land.

Carp till your heart's content, set is on the way to the stud hi/lo game in the sky (and or Monmouth County, NJ).

As to the grandma's game, clearly: 1,4,2,3.

As to the Goldens: 4,2,3,1.
