Just getting into chips, been in card rooms for about six months now but I think it’d be sick to have a great set for home games, and recs for the lower budget options?

Welcome! What is your budget for your new set? Some people are comfortable spending $1,000+ on a set. Others don't want to spend more than a couple hundred dollars. The good news is that there are solid new and used options all along that spectrum. You just can't expect a prime rib dinner on a cheeseburger budget. But that's the fun of it all!

Welcome! As far as budget options it just depends what you want and what your willing to spend. You can look into Bud Jones/ Matsui chips if you don’t like Paulson or want cheaper casino used chips. There are also plenty of group buys to help bring costs of chips down. If your interested in Paulson and don’t care about it being a mixed set hunting around on here or apache poker chips website is always fun. GL!
