Thanks!

modern aluminum case, includes cards and dice, they are nothing special

now if you're looking for cheaper chips like these, that's different

Is there a better pic of the chip faces?
Unfortunately no. I'm guessing they are plastic but just wanted to see if someone could confirm it. I haven't seen these chips before personally. Person is selling everything for $35

They're probably among the best of the inexpensive slugged plastic chips, but take that for what it's worth. I haven't handled those in particular, but I had a tourney set of the Monaco Casino chips from the same set, and I liked them quite a bit.

Good to know. The set is apparently $130 on amazon so at $35 it's...75% off, just about? And brand new according to the seller. Almost want to just grab it for how cheap it is since they are local to me.

That sounds about right. However, the breakdowns in those pre-packaged sets are usually trash. No set would need 100 $1 chips, and 50 $1000 chips. Plus, the $50 chips are kind of a waste. Still, they may be a nice starter. However, some of these sets are inconsistent from batch to batch, and may even come from multiple factories. Colors and materials may vary.

Do you want them for a cash set (if so, what stakes?) or a tourney set?

I don't even know :) I run a bi-weekly sit-n-go with only 7-9 people with some rebuys in the beginning which I use my china clays for. Definitely don't need another set. I was just thinking about using it once or twice and then reselling it or something. But definitely not necessary

If you like your china clays, I wouldn't bother making this a second set, even temporarily.

Then again, for $35 you can't exactly go wrong; it'd be worth that much just so you can see what they're like. Don't expect to get your money back when you sell them, though. I mean, you might, but don't count on it.

I will skip those since you already had a China Clay set, personally I think the set will be a downgrade to China Clay.

There's a reason why they are re-selling for $35 since they have little resell value

$35 is still money and could be use to build a budget for something better
