DrStrange
4 of a Kind
Protect your hand!
A card protector is a practial thing and a public statement. I pick mine carefully befor each game.
My very first one from 1985. Xmas gift from the office party way back when. Ya'll should fear the 'gator, ain't gett'n my chips!
Most of my protectors are coins / tokens. Here we have three examples. A Golden Nugget slot token from the 1990's, a Maltese silver coin from 1964 and medallion from a WWII British Defense Medal.
My uncle ran a liquor store near the AIr Force Base {now closed} in Big Springs Texas 1950s through 1970s. He would take things in trade for booze from the servicemen, including this medallion. I have a few other things from him I use as a card protector.
I will be unable to post my promised weekly picture next week - so I posted twice this week.
There are lots more card protectors to come -=- DrStrange
