Since I just purchased over 6000 roulette chips from @denizzz , I'm going to need some cardboard chip boxes to store them. If you've got a bunch of these for sale, please let me know.

They're out of stock at Apache. Spinettis sell these for $10/each on Amazon. Are you kidding me?

There's a long thread in Forums | Market place | Group Buys called: "Cardboard Chip Boxes Group By Help" that finished up about a year ago. Some of the people that bought them may very well have some to sell. And, if others were interested I would certainly be interested in a couple hundred boxes if @justsomedude could work his magic again -- I mention him because it looks like, based on the above mentioned thread -- he already has an in and understands how to work the deal. Of course he may also never want to hear the words "Poker Boxes" again, I'm not sure how smoothly the whole thing went.

A round 2 of the group buy thread was started but never happened due to lack of interest / not meeting minimums / high per box price.

I’d do it again so long as all orders were kept to 200x (ie, not breaking into cases) and we hit the minimum (I think 4,000 total).

I’d gladly reship the original cases. Breaking them down into smaller orders and recounting them was just way more work than I had ever anticipated. Took 5-6 weekends to get everything counted out, sorted, packed, weighed, and shipped. As a result, some people waited 8+ weeks to get their shipments after I had taken delivery of the boxes, which I am not proud of. And I would just want to avoid a similar situation in the future.

As I recall we ordered over 15,000 so we were in the lowest bulk price range which I think was around $0.60 per box. Plus $30ish for UPS shipping it worked out to about $150 per case at cost. The numbers are in the thread, I’m just on mobile and don’t feel like looking for it.

If we did it today I’d need to get a new quote, which might include an up charge given we’re now two years out from that original order. But just ballparking it I think we’d be around $1.00 - $1.10 per box for a minimum order of 4,000. I’d guess you’d be looking at an approximate shipped cost of $250ish for 200x.

Of course, the more we order, the lower the per box price.

Shoot, you gave up 5-6 weekends of your time? Nothing to be ashamed of their. I know everyone appreciated all the hard work you put in!

Ok maybe I’m exaggerating. More like 3.5 weekends. But I just mentioned the possibility of a reorder to my girlfriend (who helped me count/sort/pack the orders last summer)... I said “We may have another box order this spring.” Her response - “you mean YOU may have another box order this spring. I’m not counting out those damn boxes again.”
