You may have seen a few other members post these before, but here's the stash I found on Craigslist a few weeks back. As far as I've been able to learn, Bonnie Damiano's Caribbean Poker Classic took place at the Excelsior Casino in Aruba in 2002. By today's standards, it was a tiny event with the $2k main event having only 12 entrants. But that didn't mean there weren't some big names in attendance. Phil Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen, Devilfish Ulliott, Mike Sexton, Annie Duke, and Howard Lederer were among some recognizable names that cashed in some of the events (http://www.cardplayer.com/poker-tournaments/582-2002-caribbean-poker-classic).
This set is the first I've seen with any $500s, but I also haven't seen many of these chips out there. Someone out there may have a closet full of 'em. The chips I know I'm missing are the blue NCV's that @Don Clay had, but I haven't been able to track down any in quantity. Not sure if there's any other denominations out there. As you can see in the pictures, the $5's, $25s, and $100s are in excellent condition. The $500s are used, but do still stand on edge. Fantastic colors across the set. There are red $5s out there as well as charcoal $100s, but what I have are the orange $5s and black $100s. I am lacking in $25s, but do have 40 more coming. Total chip count is 1428, with 40 $5s, 40 $25s, and 18 $100s not pictured.
These will most likely go up for sale very soon, as I have yet to host a tournament and this is my second hot stamp tourney set and third tourney set overall. But enough talk! On to the pics...
