Jeez, you're f'ing lazy.

And IMO, you're missing out on most of the fun of building mixed sets, which is determining for yourself the components that suit your particular taste, and putting together a set that no one else has ever come up with.

There are tons of material, both text and media, available on this site, as well as the ChipGuide...

Seems a little unfair, maybe I just know what I want? (However, I am already second guessing the Casablancas, LOL. I think I will close the thread for now. I just wanted to post a Wanted ad in case they were rare and would take forever to get a response but that does not seem to be the case).

Also, I am having quite a wonderful time building my mixed set and I believe it will be a crowd pleaser. The part of my message asking for alternatives was just to keep a door open in case I missed a $5, I don't have knowledge of every chip in existence and want to get a first playable set up and running relatively timely. I will build my masterpiece later.

Also, I will check out those materials some more. This site has blown me away with its depth so its hard to take it all in so quickly.

The response may have been a little harsh. But Posting a "Want to Buy" classified ad asking for "any pics of chips of a similar color scheme" may not be the best route, until you know exactly what options are out there, and what specific chips you want to buy. It might be better to post your question in another thread, or start your own thread, maybe under the "Poker Chip General" forum. Also, keep your eye on the classified ads to see what types of chips come up for sale, are sold, etc.

For example, people may not spend time posting a different options of $5 chips to a classified ad, but the community here is often more than responsive to threads/posts where people are soliciting advice as to what types of chips may be available, what chips go with others, suggestions, etc.

I'd recommend getting to know how to use the Chip Guide and insert some images from there. (Casablanca is under Region: Carribean; State: Aruba). Right click, copy image address from Chip Guide; click on Image icon in PCF above, and paste image address, and bingo. Also, the ChipGuide Query Facility link on the left side of the page is an amazing tool.
