Anyone else a big James Bond fan? I just picked up some Cartamundi poker chips from Casino Royale and I'm in love with them!

Anyone else have some and want to share pictures of your collection? I've been looking everywhere trying to fine $1,000 and $25,000 chips haha

Here's what I have so far

Those are very nice. I'm very new here so pardon the ignorance , are those very different from the ones on Apache?

Hi, yeah I'm new too so no worries! I had actually messaged Apache once and they never replied but from what I've been told the ones they sell are not made by Cartamundi in Belgium. Cartamundi is the license holder for Casino Royale and were the makers of the chips and cards used in the movie :)

If you use the search function (top right of the page), you'll find some great sets out there. @Phantom put together some great sets and did a group buy if I recall.

Here's a taste of what you might find out there...

Very cool-looking chips.. but Cartamundi make cards and board games and paper stuff. Who made the chips for them - anyone know?

They look like slugged plastic chips with label. Just found these:

Fairly certain these (the ones pictured above) are Chinese knock offs. The original cartamundi style had differing edgespots and were of a much higher standard.

So you bought these because you wanted the chips used in the movie, or because you were looking for quality Bond-related poker chips?

Because they’re used in the movie and I really like the design of them!

I like the design too. Actually I like it alot. I used to have a small tournament set of these. But when I played with them I found that they were really slippery.

I wonder if the director of Casino Royale had to film extra takes because the chip stacks kept falling over:)

Cartimundi doesn't have injection-molded plastic chip making capability. Likely made by Copag in Brazil.

I got hold of some of the movie prop $1,000 notes as well and made them into bundles.
